The story behind our name...

We love our city of Columbus, Ohio and our name and logo reflects our hometown pride.

Named for Christopher Columbus, the city was founded on February 14, 1812, and is about to celebrate its 200th birthday.

The location which was later chosen to be the capitol of Ohio, was at the confluence of the Olentangy and Scioto Rivers, and was referred to as the forestland opposite Franklinton known as Wolf's Ridge.

Built on land known as the Ohio Country, the earliest inhabitants were Mound Builders, then the Miami, Delaware, Wyandot, Shawnee and Mingo nations. It was once under control of the French Empire, until the Treaty of Paris gave the land to the British Empire in 1763. After the Revolution, the land became part of the Virginia Military District, until statehood was achieved in 1803.

Wolf's Ridge LLC is a technology company specializing in home computer and network repair, web hosting and design services for small businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals for family photo albums and blogs or genealogy pages.

We offer set up, repair, troubleshooting and one-on-one assistance with your home computer and home wireless or wired network. We specialize in working with people who may need assistance to learn how to maintain their own system and will explain things to you in plain language instead of Geek Speak, and will leave you with written instructions and tips to help you avoid costly visits in the future. We do housecalls, or we can pick up your system and repair it offsite and return it to you when we are done. Some repairs can also be made remotely through your internet connection.

We will lead you through the process of turning your vision for your website into reality by close collaboration at every step. We will make this an easy process for you by asking the right questions to find out about the purpose of your website, your target audience, and your personal design preferences.
